Business Experience: Ms. Martin spent nearly 20 years in corporate and consulting roles before launching DreamSpinner Communications.  She has worked with nonprofit and for-profit organizations in many industries, including: healthcare, trade associations, professional services, food and beverage, real estate, utilities, banking, software/information services and more.

Her professional background includes positions with Duke Energy, CarolinaHome.com and Signet Bank.   In addition to her consulting work, Ms. Martin is an adjunct professor for UNC Charlotte, teaching public speaking, public relations writing and corporate communications strategies.  She also is an in-demand speaker and teleseminar provider on marketing topics. Her corporate communications writing has been part of winning packages that include IABC Silver Anvil, BMA Pro-Ad, APEX and PICA awards. Gail Martin’s articles have appeared in over 35 publications.  Recent articles have appeared in Sojourners Magazine, Ventures Charlotte, Charlotte Parent, BusinessToday, SouthPark Magazine, Saathee, University City Magazine, Cabarrus Business and Lifestyles, WomensCommunity.com and eZineArticles.com. Ms. Martin is the author of The Chronicles of the Necromancer fantasy adventure series.  The Summoner: Book One in The Chronicles of The Necromancer, was released internationally by Solaris Books/Simon & Schuster in February, 2007.  The second novel in the series, The Blood King, is scheduled for a February, 2008 release.  Her books are represented by The Ethan Ellenberg Literary Agency in Manhattan.
